Microsoft uses OpenOffice.org for presentation

May 24th, 2005 Patrick Comments off

At the Third Ukrainian Open Source Developers and Users Conference the head of Microsoft Ukraine, Mr. Valery Lanovenko, had to use an IBM Thinkpad running ALT Linux Compact 2.3 and OpenOffice.org presentation software to do his powerpoint presentation on Microsoft’s Shared Source Initiative after his Windows Tablet failed to work. Definitely not an everyday sight.
