Firefox at 21% market share
W3Counter’s Global Web Stats of July 9, 2006 show that everybody’s favorite browser, Firefox, has reached a market share of 21%. Congratulations to Firefox. With the upcoming version 2.0 (beta here)
Firefox is poised to gain even more market share. One of the reasons being that Microsoft’s upcoming IE7 will simply lack features and innovation compared to Firefox 2.0. IE catching up to Firefox’s functionality in version 1.5 will definitely not be enough. The best standards compliant browser experience still is and will continue to be Firefox. Competition again in the browser market. Who would have thought…
