Recently I have not really kept my blog up to date and even the software was ridiculously old so it was time to update that first. Got the latest and greatest WordPress release, followed the very simple instructions and 30 seconds later it was done. Nice work WordPress team! I decided to browse some of my older entries and noticed that clicking on any of the links would result in a jump to the main page at www.laimbock.com. Clearly something was not right (yet). So I went through the config options and saw that the mod_rewrite rules were missing in my .htaccess. Adding those made everything working again. Nice start of a Monday.
